Tripor is a range of two part liquid foam systems, designed for easy use by inexperienced operators with simple tools. Liquid components A and B when mixed together react to form a foam structure. A wide variety of Tripor types are available to provide finished materials specific to the needs of the end user. It’s most popular uses include moulded products, cavity infill, and insitu buoyancy.
Because of it's liquid stage Tripor is ideal for pouring into moulds and cavities. As it reacts it rises flowing into complex shapes. Once cured the final object may be demoulded; if post finishing is required any release agent must be removed from the surface, standard finishes such as paint systems may be used to create a variety of effects. The adhesive properties of liquid foam are significant, this allows the use of metal, plastic or wood inserts; it may even be advantageous in panel manufacture when two substrates require bonding together.
For the larger user, equipment is available which mixes the two components at the time of dispense. A timer facilities accurate dosing giving rapid and easily repeatable results. Materials are dispatched in sealed containers which are replaced on an exchange basis, removing the need for container disposal.
Applications ....................................................................................
- Tank and Panel Insulation
- Structural Infill eg for Rotational Mouldings
- Narrow Cavity Filling
- Resin Transfer Cores
- Buoyancy
- Model and Pattern Making
- High Density Decorative Mouldings
Supplied in 5Ltr , 25Ltr , 200Ltr packs theTripor 200 series is O.D.P. Zero and can therefore be used in most in any circumstance. AUTOPOR equivalents are available in most system N/o's, and are known as the 400 series, this is to say Tripor number 216 would be Autopor 416 etc.
The range of Tripors and their applications are almost too long to list. A simple table showing the most popular products is shown below with brief descriptions of their most common uses.
